I love this painting by Josephine Wall. This goddess’ smile is so beautiful and generous. It lights up her face and seems to provide the energy to the surrounding life. Indeed, she seems to gifting or bestowing it on the fairy and transforming the garden.
Our message today is about exactly that. We have transforming powers. Specifically our smile. You know, that smile that comes from the heart. We have the power to bring warmth and light to a room….more specifically another’s heart. Yes, our authentic smile is magic and contagious. Give it generously and watch is mirrored back to you.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray…..find your joy and let it smile.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Drink lots of water.
-Look into the eyes of those who cross your path and give them a smile.
What made me smile yesterday……
-A great sleep in morning.
-A very gracious teacher.
-I lost so many things today and found each of them. Whew. I am going to have to thing more about what it is all about but for now I am grateful.
-A dinner with old friends.
