Peace

For your consideration:

I know this picture and chose it for today. I chose it because of the vibrance of the colors.

Typically we see peace in colors of blues and whites. We picture relaxation as representative of peace. Certainly all of that is true because those colors are calming. But this picture is none of that. The vibrant oranges and golds opposite the pink (typically representing love) offers us an additional depiction of peace.

The energy in this picture suggests to us that when we truly achieve a state of peace we are called into action. We are invited to share our gifts and talents. We do so effortlessly and with grace and love. And in doing so we expand ourselves and others into this beautiful space called peace.

That is our HOPE.

Now are we in this space all of the time? No, we are human. Should we wait until we achieve a perpetual state of peace? No, we are human. Should we share our gifts and talents? Absolutely. It is part of the perpetual process on attaining peace.

So rock on, dear ones, you’re already better than you think you are.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..

-Share joy. If you feel it, share it.

-Smile. If you feel it, show it.

-Share hugs and kisses, if you want to do it.

-If you have a solution, share it. Offer it even if not asked. If it isn’t wanted or accepted, love yourself for the offer. That is what counts.

-Breath deeply often.

-Pause for as long as you can today. Just for you. You deserve it.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I participated in a Women on Target event yesterday. Yes it is a NRA program. But it is a fun event. 70 women supported each other and cheered each other on. The volunteers (mostly men but not all) gave freely of their knowledge, encouragement, equipment and time. I did not hear one cross word. I did not hear one negative comment. Amazing, amazing day.

-Bruce. He could not get enough scoop on how my day was. He was joyful for me. Amazing.

-Bed at 10:00. A smile on my face as I drifted off to sleep to good dreams.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
