Blue Moon
Songwriters: HART, LORENZ / RODGERS, RICHARD
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue Moon
You know just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care forAnd then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked to the Moon it turned to gold

Blue Moon
Now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked the Moon had turned to gold

Blue moon
Now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Blue moon
Now I’m no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

For your consideration……
It seems like it has been a long time since our message has come via a song. I am not familiar with this song, yet here it is. Initially, it made me sad. I have the sense that there are many people who are feeling alone and adrift. There are people right now who are feeling very lonesome and cut off from their dreams.
Frankly, this was not the type of message I HOPE to get for this blog. But just as I think that, I am told, “But this is the point. This is exactly the point….bring, renew and sustain HOPE.” Well, consider me told.
Today we are reminded today, that we are NEVER alone. We may feel adrift but we are not. We may feel cut off from our dreams but they are a breath away.
Before birth we are assigned our Guidance. We have personal angels and guides assigned directly to us. They walk with us every moment of our lives. Plus we can always call on additional help. We can always call on God and his Archangels, Guides and Goddesses. They NEVER ignore a call.
“Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you will find.”
Be still. Go into the silence and listen. Pause and breathe, feel the next step you are led to take. Feel the love that surrounds you. You are loved, cherished and blessed.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE actions steps anyone can take……
-Meditate/pray. When in doubt, be still.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Do a “T” chart with ‘sads’ and ‘glads’. Take one or two of the sads and brainstorm what it would take to turn it to a glad. Ask for it.
What made me smile yesterday……
-8 preschoolers and 6 adults. No contest, the preschoolers won.
-A good touching base and getting caught up with Alex.
-Email on my netbook is fixed. It was a browser problem.
-An early bedtime. I told you, the preschoolers won.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
