For your consideration…….

I am not surprised that this message came forward today. Repentance has randomly come up many times in conversation throughout this week. Today it came through in meditation in an expanded form.

Your God is a bright. He gets it…..the first time. There is no need to repent over and over again for the same thing. If you feel the need to do so, it is because the repentance you are offering up is lacking somehow. Perhaps it is missing sincerity, love, completeness, belief or perhaps it still carries judgement because you have not forgiven yourself.

True repentance brings us back to our wholeness. It brings us back to the Oneness. It eliminates the separateness from our God. We must be like God and forgive ourselves. We must recognize that what separated us taught us. We grew. For that we can be grateful. When we can feel the gratitude, we know we have repented. We live, we learn and we grow.

The key to repentance is that it comes from the heart and soul. It comes from a place of love and acceptance. The best way to repent is to make the moment you have right now, the very best it can be expanded in every way from your growth. Bring your heart and soul front and center and let its love, light and gratitude be your Guide.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate. Let anything that is unresolved bubble up.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Write down those old wounds that still bother you. Pick one at a time. See it for what it really was. Forgive yourself or whoever was involved. When you feel ready, release it for healing. It is done.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Peaceful Stillwater.

-A great drive home.

-An Army/Navy get-together at Shannon and Will’s.

-Yeah, Navy.

-A 10 hour snooze. Wow!

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
