For your consideration…….

Do you know what your life purpose is? Do you wonder about it? Some of you must because the message today is a tip about helping to sort it all out.

Today we are encouraged to sit back, close your eyes, relax and let a life review start to play. You may want to grab a piece of paper and pen. Start with your earliest recollection and move forward. As your life review plays, notice the “scenes” that pop up. Don’t judge them. Just notice the ones that come before you. Notice how you feel as they do. When you are through looking at one “scene”, hit the play button and continue to the next one and the next etc. until you reach present day.

When you are done, you can ask yourself why those particular “scenes” popped up. Why are they important? Ones of joy, happiness, love and success are certainly indicators of heading in the right direction and being in harmony with life. Scenes that show us the opposite would indicate where we are not happy and a direction we want to avoid.

In either case these scenes represent lessons learned. Both good and bad have molded us and sent us down the road toward our life purpose. Both are necessary. They are like the curbs on the side of the road that keep us from veering of.

Jot your thoughts down. What becomes clear to you? When are you the happiest? When are you the unhappiest? When do you feel most successful? Write down the what just into your head. Again don’t judge it. And don’t feel pressured to finish it. When you are done, be done. You can go back later. It can be a work in process.

Finally, expect that this activity will  be fun. Expect surprises.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.
