For your consideration……
We hear a lot of quibbling about “redistribution” during this political season. For the record, taking what is not yours and giving it to someone else is stealing. Even if the spin around the intention is good or even right.
Having said that, “sharing”…..willingly giving up from a kind and loving heart…..is a gift of love. That is the first part of today’s message.
But there is a second part. We are being asked to “clean house”. This is literally. You have heard the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” This is true. What we are no longer using is obviously no longer serving us. We don’t need it. We are being asked to look around at what we don’t need or want. Bless it and release it by donating it or giving it away to someone we know either needs and/or will appreciate it and use it.
The blessing and intention behind the releasing is important. We are reminded that everything carries energy and we want our blessings to be carried forward for the good of the next receiver of our gift.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……..
-Meditate/pray….put peace into your life.
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Look around…..start the process of “redistribution.”
What made me smile yesterday…….
-A little bit of pampering.
-Spending the afternoon with Ginger.
-Aunt Dorothy was amazing. This is the first time in months she has been able to communicate. We were shocked to find her wheeling herself around the assisted living home.
-A great dinner.
-A chill evening in.
