Wave of Change

For your consideration…….

A big part of many North American Native tribes is the “vision quest”. It is a rite of passage of sorts where an individual goes into nature alone for 1-4 days. There they experience deep spiritual communication and are given direction on their life purpose. They are confident in the Guidance they are given. It is an important part of an individual’s life accepted by the tribe.

We are given that example today because unless you belong to a North American Native tribe you probably will not be doing a vision quest to find your life purpose.

If you are here, you are doing the work to define or develop your life purpose. But unlike a Native American, you do not necessarily have the understanding and support of a “tribe” behind you.

The message today is that you don’t need it. Your life purpose is Divinely Given. Release the need for acceptance, approval, or trying to gather a team to justify it. Each of us has a life purpose unique unto ourselves. Just let go and “fly your own journey”.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….at the end of meditation ask for your next step in your life purpose. Ask what you can do today or that you be guided today towards it.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.

-Remember your breath is your reset button. If you feel stress, anger, anxious etc., return to deep breathing.

-Journal your HOPEs and dreams.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Lots of fun errands.

-Breakfast with Betty, Ingrid and Cathy. Too fun.

-Relaxing with John, Cathy and Bruce.

-Beautiful sunshine.

-My many many blessings.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
