Follow the Thread

For your consideration……

I am not surprised that this message came through for today. I was actually given it yesterday and then reminded to use it today. The message is to follow the “golden thread”. The golden thread is that series of invisible steps that are put in front of you leading you down a path. You don’t know why and you don’t know where it is leading you.

Here is an example. You have a busy day planned out. Maybe you have even completed all of your tasks and are excited to be on your way home. But something or place draws your attention or pops into your head. You feel you should make an adjustment and make another stop. You don’t necessarily know why but just that you want or need to go there.

Or maybe as we have heard before, you are prompted to call someone. You don’t know why but just feel you need to make that call.

Still another example might be my own from yesterday. I was given a message to write a one-day workshop. I was given the main pieces to put in it. I did that and am excited about how it turned out. After a lot of angst I picked a day and location. I really didn’t know how to market it so I posted it here on the blog and put up a few flyers. But where were the phone calls? Hmmmm. Now what.

Earlier in the week I was guided that I would be making an adjustment. So I decided if the workshop wasn’t happening I would use the time and space to do readings. At the last-minute I created a flyer. But suddenly my computer and printer were not talking. They were working when I went to bed and now when I wake up they are not.

Finally, I just gave it up. If I can’t get the flyers to print then I am going to assume I am just supposed to stay home. As soon as I made that decision it was like my printer was possessed. I couldn’t get it to stop printing the flyers. I had 8 before I could get it to stop. OK I can take a hint.

I am supposed to be there even if I don’t know or what I am going to be doing or why. As I said to my sister, maybe I am supposed to meet some one who is going to be there.

Of course, it became very clear with beautiful women I read for. I was meant to be there for them and them for me. It always amazes me the exchange of energy that happens during a reading. It is like a booster shot…. a moment in time when we have paused, listened and grew.

Then at the end in the day another beautiful woman bounds in and says she’ll take a reading. I looked at her cards. Her life is great and I knew, just knew, this was different. I was supposed to meet her for some reason. As we talked, we realized we are in the same doctorate program, at the same school and virtually in the same spot in it. Amazing. I met a sister, fellow teacher and colleague.

We talked yesterday about following a flow. This is the same with a twist. You may not always have any idea where it is going. We may feel tempted to put the brakes on because of that. But follow that “golden thread”. Trust the lead of your Guidance. There is a reason you are being led there. Don’t be afraid. Be excited.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray….listen to what your Guidance is telling your authentic self.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Remember they do not have to be all at once. They can be spread throughout the day.

-Go with the flow.

-Relax.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Skyping with my brother.

-My sister remembering to check in on me.

-The beautiful women I met.

-My Guidance.
