For your consideration…..

Today’s message reminds us that you can not believe everything you see and hear. Unless your “feelings” match what you are seeing and hearing, consider the information suspect.

I was reminded about two recent incidences. The first being a conversations I had with my friend. During the conversation, we talked about how so many comedians “feel” angry. Their words are funny and we may laugh but our “feelings” don’t match. We don’t have a happy feeling because we “feel” their underlying anger. I read once that many comedians are actually sad and/or depressed people. That may be sad but true.

The second incident actually happened last night. We are at my beloved Stillwater. Everyone who knows me knows that this is sacred space for me. For that reason I resisted having a television. I relented by request of my husband. Honestly it is nice sometimes but last night reminded me why I resisted so long. I was reading and semi watching a late night TV show. They are supposed to be light and funny….right? Not so much last night. Everyone was laughing but I could feel the guest comedian’s anger. I just shut the TV off .

This morning I was reminded of yesterday’s message. Just because it was not directed at me  personally, I felt the negative energy. Simply shutting off the TV is not enough.  I was reminded that I should have asked for the highest healing of that comedian and all of the negative energy he puts out.

Yesterday we talked about what is “true”. Today we are reminded that what we see and hear must match the “feeling” it invokes to be true. Given a choice, if what you are seeing and hearing does not match what you are feeling, always choose what you are feeling. Even if you don’t know why, trust your “gut”. Let your feelings be your filter for what is true.

This same principle applies to manifestation. You can say the words. You can hear the words but unless you “feel” the words there is an imbalance creating an untruth.

We are reminded today to “feel” the energy around us, filter it and ask for healing of negative energy. That is our little part for healing the world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Mediate. Being centered clears the way for good filters.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Go to bed early. Don’t start off a big weekend tired.

-Feel your words.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Car fixed…check.

-Bills paid….check.

-Stillwater.

-Our new flea market BBQ is great.

-As are our tiki torches, just in time for the West Nile virus outbreak.

Love, blessings and gratitude,

Rev. Chris
