For your consideration…..

We lost a neighbor a little over a year ago. Ian was not quite 16. He was an extremely talented hockey player but even more special was his grasp  of life. From a very early age on the inside of each of his hockey gloves he printed H.A.P., an abbreviation for “have a purpose”. Somehow Ian knew we needed a life purpose. Perhaps what he didn’t know was that we already had one. We were born with a life purpose. Indeed the journey of life is discovering and l living it.

Everywhere I go it seems I hear people asking or saying they just do not know what their life purpose is. What is exciting to me is that people are asking at all. I never remember my mother or her friends having this discussion. But it is as though the world is waking up. Asking the question and having the thoughts is the first step in a new you and a new world.

But what comes next? What else can you do to discover your life purpose? Start by investing in yourself. Here are some ideas.

-Take time to meditate/pray each day.

-Read. Grab books on life purpose or anything that interests you. Don’t judge and don’t disregard that book that seems to “jump” off the shelf at you.

-Have discussions with friends. Consider forming a circle.

-Have a human design chart done.

-Take a class or workshop.

-Look for groups and consider joining one.

-Go to retreat. Or do a self-imposed one. Get alone with yourself.

-Write. Journal each day. No judgement. It is your journal random thoughts are allowed and encouraged. Try some automatic writing.

-Seek help.

-Most importantly remember you are perfect and you are not alone.

Everywhere you go people are waking up. It is a great time….an exciting time.
