For your consideration…..

Today’s message is a short but wonderful message. It is about not missing moments.

We all have those moments when thoughts of someone randomly jumps into our head. They are totally off subject and unrelated to anything we are doing. Perhaps we wish we could have been with someone, perhaps we missed an event, perhaps we forgot them or have some sort of regrets. Or perhaps we have no idea why we are thinking of them.

Today we are reminded again that moments past are gone forever but we do have this moment. When a person randomly jumps into our head, we have received a “divine timing reminder”. And we are reminded we have this moment to act.

It doesn’t matter how long it has been. It doesn’t matter that it seems random. Call and share a laugh, memory, regret, HOPE, dream…whatever is in your heart. There is a reason that person was randomly put into our thoughts. We may or may not know why. It doesn’t matter. We need to contact the person.

Now our ego, will probably be telling us that this is a stupid plan. It will tell us that we probably won’t know what to say. It will tell us that the receiver will think it is strange. It may tell us the receiver doesn’t want to hear from us. It may say it have been too long…it is water over the bridge. Or it may say we just talked to the person there is no need to call back. Our ego will be very creative with reasons why we shouldn’t follow that random thought…that divine reminder.

But don’t listen to the ego. Follow your authentic self. Follow your true heart. Make contact with the person that randomly jumped into your thoughts or dreams. Accept the blessing and act on it. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Stay true to your authentic self. You deserve at least 5 minutes a day to be utterly alone with you.

-Drink lots of water.

-Go for a walk…before work, at lunch, after work. Or just sit outside and be still. Take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Follow your heart.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-Breakfast at the Bomber with my sis, Lori.

-Random shopping. And I do mean random.

-A great BBQ at Shannon’s. Lots of fun. Great food.

-My Alex making her own party. If you can’t join the fun….make your own.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
