For your consideration……

I am sure almost everyone has had a “chase” dream. Some people have the same dream that keeps reoccurring that makes you wake up with your heart pounding as though you had run a marathon. The solution we are told is to have a plan in place to  stop, turn around and ask the person or thing that is chasing us what they want.

It is the same with life. I am hearing that a lot of us are running. At least it feels like we are running. We are rushing through our life. We are rushing to stay ahead of everything even though we may not quite know what that is.

That is what today’s message is about. We are being asked to just stop…..just stop. What is so important that I am running away from it? What is going on in my life that has me so unsettled?

We can’t change a thing running away from it. It is like that reoccurring dream. We need a better plan. Take a life pause. Let the moment in time merge with you. Become one with it. Live fully in this moment. Relax in its flow. Let it carry you to the next.

Being fully conscious and present in the moment is where we need to be. It is where we can have impact. Making this moment count is the step we need to make to give the next moment its best chance at success. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray. In the silence, ask the questions you need answered.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make a “T” chart. On the left side, write down what is working in your life. On the right side write down areas you would like to change. First step is done. Look at those things on the right. Pick one or two and do something to change them. It doesn’t have to be major. But all those little things we do eventually shift the momentum and changes the direction to where we want to be.

What made me smile yesterday…….

-A great breakfast at “The Twisted Olive.”

-Successful shopping….I hate to shop….so rarely have those days.

-Lots of work done for Amy’s party.

-Great homemade pizza. Way to go, Martha.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
