For your consideration……

The message today is very clear but probably not what you think it is. Today’s message is about self. It is about the constant conversation we have with ourselves.

Most of us, much of the time, have a constant dialog going on in our head. What we actually speak out loud is but a fraction of all that has gone on in our head. Think about that for a moment. Pay attention to the next hour or so. You will probably be amazed at the amount of communication we have with ourselves versus someone else. Heck, if the truth be told, we have conversations with ourselves even when we are in a conversation with others.

So we are being reminded today that the language we use with ourselves is important. The words we choose and the tone we use in our internal conversations is important. How we address ourselves is important.

The last couple of days we have talked about aligning the body, mind and spirit. If you are calling yourself an idiot, how successful do you think you will be? If you are talking to yourself about your failures, about lack of ability, about lack of anything, how successful to you think you will be? Internal conversations about lack of, I can’t, I shouldn’t, I wouldn’t, I couldn’t etc. become self-fulfilling prophesies. Those conversations, even if they are just in our head, create energy.

When we get that judgement conversation going on or that reprimand, that is our ego. Ask it to step aside or ask it to step out the door. It is not who we really are and it is not helping us.

We should be talking to ourselves like a loving mother, father, friend or our God would. Our authentic self was created and exists in love of self and others. Today we are reminded that our language with ourselves needs to be a reflection of that love. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray. Tapping into your authentic self and listening to your Guidance is a gift of love.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors. What do you notice? What do you hear?

-Journal what you are grateful for. Journal your successes….big and small.

-Stop and stretch in the middle of the day.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I stayed in my PJ’s until 5:00.

-My hands feel a lot better than they did yesterday. They are still sore but not painful.

-A great get together with amazing women and man. Linda was awesome in sharing how she found her voice.

-A Dairy Queen and stroll with Mary.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
