For your consideration……

Today we were first asked this question, “Do you ever think that people do not really know you, understand you, or get what you are about?”

I remember very clearly several months back. I was out with high school friends. At one point one of them said to me, “I know you don’t agree with this but…..” To which I replied, “You have no idea what I am thinking.” Do you ever have that thought?

Today we are told that we have these feelings because we live “fragmented” lives. Remember yesterday we were reminded that when our body, mind and spirit are all on the same page we are able to manifest our dreams. Today we are again being reminded of the same message again but with the emphasis on living our truth and life purpose.

When our body, mind and spirit are working as one, we are living as our authentic selves. That is the life we are born to live. When we walk in our authentic shoes, there is no doubt who we are. We don’t have to argue about or defend ourselves. We do not have to be embarrassed or shy. Nor do we need to try to persuade people to agree with us. We don’t have to justify ourselves period. We simply stand in the truth of who we are and the life journey we were born to live.

I am reminded of giving out writing assignments to students. Virtually every time I remind them it is a silent exercise. There is no need to ask your neighbor anything because they can not possibly know what is in your head. Nor can you hear yourself if you are talking to your neighbor.

So to it is with us as adults. We need to get silent and listen to ourselves. We need to pull our fragmented body, mind and spirit back together and walk forward confident in our complete self….no doubts, no judgement. How anyone else feels about our journey or our life purpose is irrelevant.

That sounds harsh. But the reality is that more often than not most people are attracted to the authentic. There is reassurance and relief for them in its presence. Whether they agree or not, there is a freedom in its presence.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can think……

-Meditate/pray. Note what you think, hear and/or feel in the silence.

-Get outdoors and spend as much time as you can. Take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Journal your journey in finding your authentic self.

-Update your vision board.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Women on Target was a huge success.

-I survived.

-My friend, Carol.

-PJ’s and a nap.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
