Today I am writing with Ian and Alex in my heart and mind. Still we all share in life lessons.

For your consideration…..

H.A.P. stands for Have a Purpose. It is what Ian always wrote on the inside of his hockey glove since he was little. It is what he expected of himself and others. Being so goal oriented is so like Alex. How can you not be proud? Is that the message?

It is part of it. Like in everything there is a tug and pull, another side to be considered. The flip side of goal oriented is being in the moment. Alex reminded me of that last night with a simple question, “How can I not feel, know and be connected to something so important?”

First of all, Babycakes, you are perfect and like all of us, you need to stop the harsh judgement outside your Core Essence Self. The question is. What is the lesson? How do I make it work for me?

Beings so goal oriented is a wonderful gift. But we get into trouble when we stay focused on the goal and are disconnected from the presence moment. Living outside the present moment and being focused elsewhere can be dangerous.

The great balance of it all is that we keep our goals, our Purpose, ahead of us. But our real power to get there is by putting our full attention and intention into THIS MOMENT. This moment is where we have the power that affects our future Purpose. It is from this moment we step into the next of God’s plan for us.

This is a powerful reminder to each of us. Thank you Ian and Alex.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope actions steps anyone can do…..

-Just be in the present, letting go of what was, what might have been, what might be

-Pause for as long as you can. Journal how you feel.

-Take a walk outdoors and get in those deep breaths.

-Laugh out loud

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I dyed my hair. Does it ever come out right? I thought it was OK until Bruce asked me if I remember the TV show, Black Beauty.

-Strength in our pain and our ability to still remember and laugh

-My friend, Norma

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
