For your consideration…….

While the message was not subtle, it is about recognizing the subtleties in our attitude. If it is subtle, why is it so important? Because attitude carries our energy. We want to be very clear and concise on what we are attracting into our lives.

The example we are given today is “envy and burdensome versus aspire and attunement”. Envy may not always be as obvious as you think. Certainly it is not always mean-spirited. Think about times when a friend is going on vacation or has a new relationship. We can be happy for someone and envious at the same time.

But today we are reminded that we would be better served if we did not “envy” but “aspired” instead. Rather than say, “I wish”, we should be saying, “I will”.

I sometimes volunteer with a domestic violence safehouse shelter. An absolute must is that even though when we talk to the police and the communication is about “suspect and victim”, we never use the word “victim” outside of that scenario. Instead, we use the word “survivor”. Do you feel the different energy between “victim and survivor”? “Survivor” has HOPE and implies control.

Words carry the power of the attitude behind them. So today we are simply being given a hint at how we can better help ourselves achieve our HOPEs and dreams by paying closer attention to our attitude. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray. Go to the stillness for peace and direction.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice how you feel. Do you need a little subtle shift of attitude? Write down how you are feeling. How would you like it to change? Write an affirmation describing the shift. Do EFT (tapping) on it and/or carry it with you referring to it several times a day.

What made me smile yesterday……..

-Another beautiful sunny, warm day.

-I talked to my niece, Kelly, for the second day in a row.

-I touched base with my friend, Jackie. Would you believe I got her on the first try.

-And dum ta dum ta………We watched daughter, Alex, fly, land,  get her “soft wings”, be doused with ice water and champagne, and accept many handshakes and congrats after her very last flight in flight training. Awesome, Babycakes.

-Now as daughter, Shannon, told me, I have to figure out how to get the video off the phone and into the computer so I can share it.

Love, Gratitude and Blessings,

Chris
