For your consideration…..

Wow, is all I can say. Our Guidance must really want this message delivered. First of all, I dreamed it. Then as I was meditating, I was given it again with a reminder that I was given it in the dream state. Sorry, I guess I must pay better attention.

Most days on this blog our Guidance is mentioned. Everyday, meditation is recommended. And certainly, meditation and/or prayer done daily opens up a clear channel for our Guidance.

And just like me last night, I received messages in my dreams. We all do. Dreaming is like multi-tasking. We rest (HOPEfully) while going to school at the same time. We are given lots of Guidance in the dream state whether we remember it or not.

Meditation and dreams are more obvious ways we are given messages. Today we are specifically being told to consider the less obvious ways. Remember, our Guidance is available to us 24/7 whether we know it or not. And clearly, very clearly that is what we are supposed to talk about today.

We get messages or “helpful hints” all of the time. We just may not realize that is what they are. When we talk about God or anything Spiritual we oft-times tend to put it on a “higher shelf”. But that is wrong thinking. Our Guidance should be our best and most trusted friend who we can say anything to, ask anything of, always want to be with. have fun with, cry with etc.

So how does our Guidance try to grab our attention? Obviously, if they are with us 24/7, it is not always in a big way. No, it tries to reach us in subtle ways using all of our senses i.e.;

-Your attention is drawn to an animal. What does than animal represent to you? What qualities does that animal embody that our attention is being drawn to.

-You are deep in thought, task, conversation etc. and a random, totally off subject, thought pops into your head. Pay attention to that random thought.

-Your attention is suddenly drawn to a smell that brings back a memory. What does that memory represent? Why has it suddenly popped into this moment?

-You are driving or walking and your attention is drawn to something. Why?

-You are going somewhere and suddenly are drawn to go somewhere else.

-Delays that somehow work out to be perfect.

-You say or think something and suddenly hear a bird, horn, wind chimes etc. That is an affirmation. That is the exclamation point.

-You touch or pick something up and a memory jumps into your head. Pay attention.

-A random ladybug shows up in the middle of winter. For you it may be a different bug or animal. What meaning does that have to you?

-A hummingbird etc. keeps looking in the window at you.

-That random idea that shows up out of no where.

-A butterfly that keeps returning.

You get the picture. I am not sure why we are getting it so emphatically today. But we are and affirming the point are lots and lots of pelicans showing up. Why? Because pelicans are unselfish and often work as part of a team. They are buoyant.

Our Guidance is unwaveringly and unselfishly there by our side as a teammate we can always count on. Our Guidance is driving home the point that no matter what is weighing us down we can and do pop back up to the surface. Their help is there when we are down and when we are up. It is always there trying to get out attention and help. We are being asked to remember that. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE……..

-Meditate

-Spend as much time outdoors as you can.

-Drink lots of water.

-Before you go to sleep, affirm you want to remember your dreams. Keep a journal by your bed. Write them down as soon as you wake up. Why did you have this dream? What is it telling you.

-Do something that makes you happy today.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Our car was repaired in the morning so we could get back on the road.

-As tough as the drive was yesterday, today’s was easy.

-Bruce did not complain at all during the drive.

-We had a great morning with our friends, Sandy and Jim.

-Breakfast at Connie’s.

-A beautiful weather day that got better and better as the day went on.

-Our condo is even better than the one we had last year. Wow. Perfect.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Chris
