For your consideration…..

I know why this message came in today. It is because twice yesterday (once with my sister-in-law, Cathy, and once with daughter, Alex) this very subject came up.

Often in the “action steps” listed on this blog, journaling or giving thanks before you go to sleep for things we are grateful  for is listed. And that is a good first step. But the point of journaling them is to remind us of all we have. And that is good. But we need to take it a step farther.

We need to reflex on and “feel” the gratitude. Our body, mind and spirit need to all be on the same page for us to fully benefit. Because when that happens we “live” our gratitude. It becomes part of us and our prosperity. We own it, share it and attract more unto ourselves. That is the HOPE.


Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Get to know yourself. Feel your strength and power. Feel your support.

-Drink lots of water. The day Nick Vogt can drink his first glass of water in many many months, I am going to drink a gallon of it to celebrate.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Whenever you get a chance to be outdoors, take some deep breaths.

-Reflex on each thing you are grateful for. Feel why you are grateful.


What made me smile yesterday…..

-I taught with a great parapro.

-A great, unhurried, long talk with my Alex.

-A fun catch up call with Cathy.

-Peanut and her Dad.

-A relaxing beer with Will.

-The new roof is scheduled.
