For your consideration…….

Yesterday we were asked to take a “mind vacation”. We were asked to quietly go through our life memories and identify our happiness moments and why they made us so happy.

Today is somewhat of a continuation. We are reminded that we have a choice. We always have a choice. If we clearly see what makes us happy, our choices should always be clear. Right?

For the most part, yes. But we all know that life deals us the unexpected. Some good, some not so good, and sometimes tragedy is thrown at us. What is that about?

We came with a Divine Plan, a Life Purpose, and trials and tribulations are inherent to the plan. But it is still about choices. We still have a choice on how we deal with them. While we may not know the why? We do know and need to remember it is part of “our” life plan. Not only do we have the tools to deal with it. Not only do we have the help we need 24/7. We know that it is in God’s plan for us. While we can not see it now, it is perfect for us. We may get to know the reason in this life or not and have to wait until the next. But at some point we will realize the perfection of “our” plan.

We are being reminded of this because we always have a choice. And when trials and tribulations hit we can choose to be a victim or a survivor. Remember yesterday we were asked to hit the reset button. That reset button set us back to happiness as our benchmark. Choose happiness no matter what. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate….get to the calm. Remember those happy moments. Release the sadness for healing.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Play. Do something fun.

-Write down your happiest moment on a piece of paper and then write a new wish with it. Put it in a dream box next to your bed. Don’t have a dream box? Pick any container your might have, bless it and put it next to your bed.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A fun day getting tasks out-of-the-way.

-Dinner with my birthday girl, Shannon, and her family.

-Alex, joyous on a great trip to Key West and then knee-deep in the hoopla.

-My friend, Jody, called and her life is back in order better than ever. Prayers answered.

-Friends, Sandy and Jul, just giggling all the way down the road.

P.S. Happy Birthday, Sis. I feel your happiness.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
