For your consideration…..

Today two elephants showed up. The significance of 2 is “balance”. We are reminded that we need balance in our lives i.e.; balance in our feminine and masculine energies, home and work, work and play etc.

But the even bigger part of our message is that we need balance in our family and society because elephants are powerful symbols representing family and society.

Elephants have wisdom and power. They use it to take care of themselves. They have personal responsibility. But they also use it to take care of their young and elderly population. They have strong bonds to their society.

We get bombarded by the news and even more so now with an election coming up this year. We are being asked to step back, regroup and turn off the rhetoric. We are being told to rely on our own wisdom, trust our own instincts and apply our own common sense. We need to trust ourselves.

Our society benefits when we step up into our own power and wisdom and use it for the benefit of ourselves, our family, our society and Mother Earth. Own your power. Own your wisdom. Do not swap them out for someone else’s. That is the message. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Tap into your inner truth at least once a day.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Trust your instincts. If you hear or see something that just doesn’t seem right or seems crazy, you are probably right.

-Hang on to your values. Don’t let others compromise you.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great K-1 class. The advantage of students this age is you get to go out for recess and you guessed it….take in 10 deep breaths. Really, it recharges your batteries.

-I was really worried I was not going to get across town in time to meet my friends and be in time for my class. But my Sis talked me through it and voila….my timing was perfect.

-Lisa Bousson did a great job with our group last night. It was great to finally get to meet her and a shock that Jackie already knew her.

-We had lots of laughs but got lots of good information as well. Did you ever wonder if your personality changes when you pass to the other side? I am pretty sure the answer is “no”.

-My dad….I knew he was over the top with his great-grandson, AJ.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
