For your consideration…….

We have been asked to speak and act only in truth…..our truth as we know it. I read somewhere that this is a year of “transformation”. I think we will hear that word a lot. But transformation does not just magically appear. Well, I guess it can. But to the degree it is successful depends on the participants and non-participants.

We are being asked to be full participants. We are being asked to look into our souls and find our truth and define what it takes to deliver it…..all of it. This takes courage.

In most cases it is easy to define what isn’t working and what needs to change. When we know we have to change or else, we do.

But it is much harder when everything seems ok, when we have no major issues or problems. It is harder because it is easier to slide from day to day and not rock the boat. It takes courage to take a deeper dive and say “what next?” Is this all there is? What do I need to do to make my life fuller and richer? What is my life purpose? Am I living it?

If you start a transformation, what is the worst case senario; you could lose some friends, you find your religion is not giving you all the answers you need, your family thinks you have fallen off the deep end, you have to look for a new job, you need to study more, you need to make hard decisions, you will be asked to do things you are not sure you are capable of.

Believe me I know first hand how hard this can be. I, myself, have always had the question; “What is my life purpose?” I was sure that if I just knew, I would be off and running and life would be perfect. But just knowing it does not make it so. Everything does not just become crystal clear and you are on easy street. No, it still takes work. Once you know it you have to live it. You have to do your best to fulfill it. It takes courage because some of those things listed above do happen. You may then be left with the question, “Seriously, this is what you want me to do?” And you may be left with doubts on your ability to do it.

Yeah, any of the above may happen. Again, this is where the courage comes in. If you seek and find, you will be given what it takes to do the job. The searching and willingness to open up our soul are the invitation God needs to highlight our path and kick our Guidance into full gear. We only need to trust, stay true to ourselves and go with the flow.

In the end we will find that what we had to give up was replaced with much much more. We will find that our life is richer and deeper and we are much more valuable to ourselves, all who cross our path and Mother Earth just as God intended we should. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate and try to focus in on your life purpose or at least a next step in what you should be doing today.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Journal. Do a “T” chart; on one side what is really working and you know is right, on the other side list those things you are not as sure of. What would it take to move them to the other side? Could anything move them to the other side? If not, there is a good clue on something that you need to eliminate from your life.

What made them smile yesterday……

-Breakfast with an old friend, Sherri, at Margaret Jean’s. Love it.

-Bethy visited me. Yup, I was right, she is a seer.

-Alex passed. I would say more but she didn’t call and give me details. What is up with that?

-Our refinance is good to go.

-Dude and I went for an evening walk to the video store. We  had a nice cozy evening with a cup of coffee and “The Help”.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
