For your consideration….

Once again the message has come in bits and pieces. I am not sure what is going on but no matter. It just is what it is.

Evidently the deer running into the side of my car was not enough to get my attention. Last night coming home from seeing my grandchildren, deer just kept popping into my head. I kept telling myself I was paranoid. But I kept hearing, “watch”. And sure enough right in front of me appears a herd of 10-15 crossing the road. After the last one went by I heard, “wait”. And sure enough along comes a straggler rushing to catch up with the rest of the herd.

So what does it mean when deer keep showing up? In part, Ted Andrews writes in “Animal-Speak”, “When deer show up n your life it is time to be gentle with yourself and others. A new innocence and freshness is about to be awakened or born.” This is certainly not only the season of rebirth but also of the new year coming.

Also we are asked to pool our loving energy with our family and friends. Our combined energy is much stronger than the sum of each of our individual energies.

And finally, we are asked to focus on the “process” of the tasks and preparations of the season and not so much on the end result. Don’t begrudge or wish away all the moments leading up to the big day. Instead bring your love and excitement into each moment. Pull on your family’s energy. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Connect with you inner peace and carry if with you throughout your day.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Bring your best energy and self to each moment today.

What made me smile yesterday….

-AJ and Peanut are just the best. They just take care of themselves.

-After dinner Peanut just randomly got up and went and gave her brother a hug and cuddled him as they watched TV.

-They were so excited to show me my Christmas present. While I am concerned on how I walked right by a washer and dryer for Stillwater and did not see it, I am over the top excited. Thank you, Will, Shannon, Alex, Peanut and AJ.

-Did I mention we have had some sun for the last 2 days? Oh….I love the sun.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
