Tree of Wisdom

For your consideration…..

We are not born with “Wisdom” in our life tool kit. We earn wisdom bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE. Wisdom is like knowledge, once we have learned or earned it, no one can take it away.

The winning combination in life is using the wisdom and knowledge we have gained in tandem. That makes sense, right? Sure it does. When we read this or stop to think about it, we realize it makes perfect sense. So why wouldn’t we use these rescourses we have earned?

Sometimes we don’t use them because our ego steps up and causes us to question ourselves. We let the ego inject self-doubt. So we continue to do things the hard way until what we already knew is reaffirmed for us. We have all had some of those lessons. We keep making the same mistake over and over until finally we get that ah ha moment.

Sometimes we know we can offer our wisdom and knowledge to others but our ego diminishes its value and we rethink the offer. We lose our confidence in what we know to be true. And once again, life is made more difficult than it has to be.

Today is just a gentle reminder that we have gathered much wisdom and knowledge on our life path. We have earned it. It is ours to use as often as we want. It is ours to share. It is ours to use in service to ourselves and others making our life paths smoother. Have confidence in your wisdom. Don’t let that pesky ego diminish the shine on your pearls of wisdom. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Relax in what you know for sure. Relax into your breath and inner peace.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.

-Focus a bit on what you know for sure. Be grateful for all that you are.

-Review that vision board. Is it still relevent? Change it up if it isn’t

What made me smile yesterday…..

-The sun, the sun.

-A beautiful walk on the river.

-My wonderful, kind and thoughtful, coaching partner, Gena.

-AJ’s Dexter soccer team are the U8 champions of a soccer tournament in Cleveland, Ohio. They traveled far but had lots of fun and persevered to be the champs. Wahoo.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
