Hallelujah

For your consideration……
Sometimes we feel so utterly alone. But we are not. When we see only darkness, we need only to look to the sun, moon and stars to once again see magnificent light. Who indeed sees the good, in fact perfection, in broken things? Everything and everyone is equal in the eyes of God. He sends gifts of love, light and support equally to all. Only we can discriminate. Only we can declare ourselves unworthy and not accept and live with these gifts. We have a choice. We always have a choice. It is the HOPE you accept them fully and share them with many.
“Hallelujah”
Who can hold the stars
And my weary heart?
Who can see everything?
I’ve fallen so hard
Sometimes I feel so far
But not beyond your reach
I could climb a mountain
Swim the ocean
Or do anything
But it’s when you hold me
That I start unfolding
And all I can say is
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Whatever’s in front of me
Help me to sing hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Whatever’s in front of me
I’ll choose to sing hallelujah
The same sun that
Rises over castles
And welcomes the day
Spills over buildings
Into the streets
Where orphans play
And only you can see the good
In broken things
You took my heart of stone
And you made it home
And set this prisoner free
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Whatever’s in front of me
Help me to sing hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Whatever’s in front of me
I’ll choose to sing hallelujah
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate. Self access. Counter any negative thoughts with positive affirmations.
-Have fun. Go out and play today. Or if you need rest, get in your pj’s and grab a good book. Do what makes you happy and relaxed today.
-Journal. Do you have a dream? Journal it. Close your eyes and see and feel what your life would be like if it came true. Who would you be? What would you be wearing? What would you be doing? How would people treat you? How would that make you feel? Imagine!
What made me smile yesterday……
-Chatting on the phone.
-I was lazy. I read a lot.
-I tried a new recipe for making pierogies. I have tried before and they were ok. But while the first ones weren’t the prettiest, the last couple dozen looked good. And they were delicious which I guess is the most important part.
-I have been trying a new technique in dreaming and it is working.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Chris
