For your consideration….

Personally I think this is unusual timing for this message. But it is not for me to question but to deliver what I am asked to deliver. Also, kind of funny, it seems like we have had a lot of “reminders” lately and now we are once again being reminded to remember “traditions” which are themselves reminders.

Traditions are things or customs we carry from our past to our present on into our future. They are reminders of things we hold dear to our heart and soul.

We have talked a lot about only letting into our Soul that which is true. Traditions honor and remind us of those things we hold in our Soul as part of “our Truth”. They honor those things and customs that ground us in “our Truth”. They are familiar and easy. We can count on them. They speak directly to who we are.

I know, I know, some of us are required to participate in traditions that we may not hold dear. They are not necessarily our Truth but another’s ie; parents, siblings. We all participate in those. Certainly, participating when it is important to someone we care about is also an important part of who we are. And visa-versa, perhaps we expect people to participate in ours when it is not necessarily a tradition that sits in their Truth. They participate out of their love for us.

But the traditions we are talking about today are those that we hold dear. They are necessary to remind us of who we are and what is important to us. They remind us of what we hold dear and what we must carry forward as the Truth of who we really are. For us, they are a good thing.

So honor your traditions proudly. They aren’t silly. If they are dear to us, that is all that is required. They are powered by the love energy we put into them. They spread joy by that same energy. And they offer solace by that same energy. That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate

-The seasons are changing. You can feel it. Go out and enjoy. Take in those deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water. Consider investing in a nice traveling water-glass and forming a habit of taking it every where you go. When you grab your keys, grab your water.

-What are the traditions in your life? What do you look forward to? What are the things you just can’t wait for? Consider them or even journal them.

What made me smile yesterday……

-AJ’s soccer game. What fun! What excitement!

-A great lunch with the Gordon’s. Always fun.

-An impromptu stop at an estate sale.

-Self-pampering, nails and toes.

-Grocery shopping done!

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
