For your consideration…

Part of the fun in doing this blog is getting messages to things I would never even think about like grooves and ruts.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about groove. For me it is grooving as in moving and grooving to music. Other people may think of grooves as making a groove to help facilitate.movement. Others may think of slipping into a pattern when they think about groove.

Our message today is talking about grooves we have created due to repetition. They are useful to us and make our life easier. However, any groove can become too deep and too repetitious. When this happens, it becomes a rut. Ruts do the opposite of grooves. They do not promote movement. They prevent it.

It seems this is a continuation of other messages we have had lately. We are reminded to be fully present in the moment and “move to the groove’ of it. Keep moving. Keep changing things up. Look forward to and be open to the new opportunities that are put in front of us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Keep grooving to the rhythm of life.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A little exploring.

-People from the south are crazed over the cold weather they are having. People from the north just appreciate the sun and roll with it.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
