For your consideration…

Boaters and sailors often wish for different types of weather. Sailors love a good wind. Suffice to say, that weather is often a determining factor on our plans. Weather changes things up. It changes the landscape. It changes our day. It enters into the decision on what we do and what we wear.

Our message today tells us that we may wish for “calm” in our lives but if that was all we got, life would be very boring. We would not get the change we need to grow. It is easy to manage in calm waters. It is much more difficult in rough seas. But those rough seas are where we get to test what we are really made of. It is where we can develop valuable skills and leadership.

Blessed are those rough seas. They uncover lots of treasures.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Put some love into those rough seas.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our weather turned a little cold so it was indoor crafts for me.

-I met lots of great ladies with the same plan.

-Sunshine.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
