For your consideration…

I was reminded today of all of those years I worked as an engineer. Ergonomics was a big part of the job (Remember, Janet?). One of the first and most important rule in ergonomics is to notice. If people have modified their work space, it is not working efficiently for them which leads to the question of why and how can the work space be modified to more effectively fit their needs?

As we work our life, we know there are rules to live by. We make plans. We need to be able to get along with and work with others etc.

Our message today tells us to stay loose and modify as we go. Are those rules really necessary? Do they need to be modified? Make sure that our plans are not set in stone so that we can adjust as we go. There are many ways to get to the same place and sometimes we find a better way. We might ask ourselves, how firm do we need to be? Can we adjust to accommodate the plans of others?

We are asked to remember that we are working towards our highest good AND the highest good of others and the Universe. Look at what we are doing and how are we modifying the plan. Evaluate and change accordingly.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Do it.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice, evaluate, modify, change….notice, evaluate, modify, change….notice, evaluate, modify, change.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Listening to the ocean…I am a Pisces and being by the water is so comforting for me.

-Dianne and Gary may visit.

-We have a lot of birthdays in February. I ran into a sale at the Coach outlet…70% off everything. Needless to say I got a lot of gifts out of the way.

-Talking with Shannon.

-Bob and Diane are coming to visit tomorrow.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
