For your consideration……

Wonder this. If everything was stripped away, no things, attitudes, opinions, body etc., what would be left?

I frequently refer to our Core or as my friend, Pat, calls it, Core Essence Self. Some religions call it our Soul. It doesn’t matter what we call it. What feels right to us is right.

All living things have this Core Essence, Soul. And if all was stripped away it would still be there. It carries through eternity. And it is this one thing that we all, all living things, have in common.

Our Core is where we are a perfect duplication of our Creator. We are one with our Creator exactly like Creator and exactly like each other. We are all one in our perfection.

What is the goal of each of our lives? We would all have a different answer. But again, if we stripped all of the things and adjectives away, lying there would be the desire to get back to our perfect self. All of us.

What would that perfect self look and feel like? Again, if we stripped everything away what is the one thing that rises above all else. Love.

So there it is. Love is our perfection. It is our oneness with each other and our Creator. It is the power that trumps all. And it always always wins. Therein is our HOPE reminder.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Meditation and prayer reconnects us with our Core.

-Drink lots of water. This was a reminder to me today. I am passing it on for those of you who also need it.

-Notice every time you feel love today….giving or receiving. Let that feeling take you back to calm whenever you need. Feel your perfection.

-Get in at least 10 deep breaths, preferably outdoors.

-Laugh. If you don’t see something that is just a joke today, turn on the TV.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-I won’t lie and say there weren’t some tough moments, but at the center of it all, I have amazing friends.

-Christine serving me tea before I take her off to an amazing once a year “self check-in” vacation. Hmmmm, time alone with your self in a remote location. Sounds heavenly. I smile just thinking about it.

-Carol, Judy, Kevin and I, what a team, having fun serving up dinner for a few dozen people. Maybe to some that doesn’t sound like fun. But we do have lots of laughs.

-I can not ever remember a time when I sat down at 7:30 and felt like it just wasn’t going to work. I couldn’t read, watch TV or carry on a conversation. I just wanted bed. So off I went at 8:00. And I slept “like a baby” until 7:30 this morning. No wonder I had such a great meditation this morning.

-That’s why I didn’t call my Sis back. I smile because she will so love that I did that.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
