For your consideration…

In the best of times, the worst of times and all the in-between times, we can find a “bright spot.” Better yet, we can create one.

Where? As an earlier message in the past couple of weeks, we can look at the beauty that surrounds us. We can look at our blessings with gratitude. We can see a kindness or give a kindness. We can watch children where we are rarely disappointed in a relatively short amount of time. We can take a little break or some down time.

Even in the saddest of times, we can find a bright spot. A good example is funerals. A little bit of humor goes a long way. Almost always, people have funny stories about the deceased or stories that warm our hearts.

We are reminded today that there is always a bright spot waiting for us to notice. We simple have to remember to look for it and choose to receive it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. It is easy. It is quick and it makes an enormous difference.

-Look for the bright spot.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A relaxing day.

-A good mystery book.

-Alex and I met Bob at the movies. We saw “No Gems.” It was the worst movie I have seen in a very very long time. The bright spot. All we could do was laugh about it.

-Hanging out with Moose. His mom went out and it was just him and I.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
