For your consideration…

This isn’t necessarily a Christmas message but Christmas Eve is given to us as an example. Our message is about “anticipation.”

We are often reminded that our attitude…our energy…attracts like energy. Negative attracts negative and positive attracts positive. We think about it in regards to our attitude but perhaps not so much when think about anticipation.

We tend to let anticipation be what it is. We can anticipate with excitement, trepidation, fear, joy, HOPE etc. depending on what the situation is. Most people think about Christmas Eve’s anticipation as one of excitement for good things to come.

That is why it is given to us as an example today. We have a choice. We always have a choice. We can anticipate with the excitement of Christmas Eve or we can anticipate with fear and dread. The truth is we never know what the next moment holds for us. But we can make our lives infinitely easier when we anticipate…expect…it to be full of love, HOPE and joy…the spirit of Christmas.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Anticipate it with the spirit of Christmas.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Morning baking.

-Lunch with Julie and Dianne followed by a visit to see our friend, Sue.

-A nice evening with Anita and Kathy…so relaxing.

-Late night shopping.

-Alex and I watched a cheesy Christmas chick flick.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
