For your consideration…

Things can seem overwhelming. Most of us have looked at something and thought, “I could never do that.” Or perhaps, we were given an assignment that seemed too big for us. Many of us have looked at our dreams and goals and felt they were something we could never accomplish.

Our message today reminds us those are just “feelings.” They are not the reality. The reality is that if something is put in front of us, there is a reason and chances are we are very capable of accomplishing it. We may be thinking, “Yeah, but how?” We do it one piece, one task at a time. And before we know it we  have a chunk done, then a quarter of it done and think just maybe we can do it. Then we reach the halfway mark and know we can do it. And before we know it, we can see the end. We can see and feel our accomplishment. We can celebrate our success. We can file away all of the experiences we have gained for future use.

I remember when I was first given the assignment to write a daily blog about HOPE. I said, “I can not do that. I don’t know what a blog is and I won’t know what to write.” Archangel Metatron told me not to worry about it. I would get help and I would be given the message each day. The task seemed way too big for me. I was way out of my element. Imagine if I had been told I had to write a blog each day for eight years. I would have been shell shocked. Yet before I knew it…here I am with eight years of blogs written and filed….one message…one day at a time.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.”

-Ask for the “step” when the task seems too overwhelming.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Lunch with old friends.

-Julie is out and about and driving.

-A good book.

-A great nights sleep.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
