For your consideration…

Today’s message is just perfect. We love the season but it can get hectic. And, of course, we have those moments throughout the rest of the year where we just have some tough moments that accumulate until we just want to lash out, pull our hair, scream, etc.

Our message today tells us that we are normal. We have these tests. But rather than explode, we need to have some buffers in our life that we can call on and/or implement. These are the things and people that bring us comfort ie; music, a cup of warm coffee/tea, toasty blankets, slippers, socks, a book, a friend to call and chat with, comfy clothes, chocolate, meditation etc…

You know what does it for you. You know what brings you comfort. Those are your go to buffers. Remember them and use them whenever you feel the urge to “go off.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Identify and use your buffers as needed.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A chill day.

-Catching up with my sister, Lori, Jackie and Alex.

-A great cooking class at Sister Pie in Detroit.

-Sunshine…how deceiving…it was cold when I finally left the house.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
