For your consideration…

I love messages about dreaming. Dreaming is an important part of our lives that often goes overlooked or forgotten. Everyone dreams but most people do not make a conscious effort to remember them or take an active part in directing them. Most people have a blase attitude…..maybe we will remember them…maybe we won’t. Maybe we’ll pay attention to them, maybe we won’t. Maybe we will make an effort to understand them, maybe we won’t. Maybe we’ll document them, maybe we won’t.

Our message today talks about the different kinds of dreaming. Most of us think that dreaming occurs while we are sleeping at night. But there are other kinds of dreaming. We can dream while we catnap. And we “daydream.” Yes, daydreaming is important as well. Think about it. Something makes us pause what we are doing and draws us away to another place….other circumstances. Of course, that is important. Of course, we should analyze the what and why. What is our Guidance trying to tell us? Perhaps, we just need a break. But we might ask why and why that daydream?

We often are reminded that our Guidance is available to us 24/7. We are reminded once again to pay attention to what it is telling us. Where is it guiding us? Analyzing our dreams is a valuable tool in our life tool box.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. It helps with clarity and remembering dreams.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-When you wake up, tell yourself you will remember your dreams. Remind yourself before you fall asleep. Keep a journal close by and write whatever you remember about  your dream down as soon as you wake up. No judgment. If you remember only words, things or places, but not the whole dream, that is ok. Analyze what you do remember.

What made me smile yesterday…

-We have sweet Moose with us while Alex is back home for work.

-Grocery shopping done.

-Sweet 2nd graders.

-A great cooking class.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
