For your consideration…

I love today’s message. It’s just common, ordinary sense on a common ordinary Wednesday at the end of Fall.  Fall is our harvest season. It is the season where we prepare for winter. We are given that as an example but today’s message is about much more.

We are reminded that we have the a lot of power to reduce or eliminate wast in our lives; time, energy, products, love, faith, HOPE, joy, money, resources etc.

We don’t  have crystal balls. We never can be sure what tomorrow will bring. But we do know or find out how to conserve what we have. We do know or can figure out how to use our resources wisely. We do know or can figure out how to be grateful for use our blessings wisely.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Waste not, want not.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Yikes, for the first time every…I forgot that I had to work. Luckily I was able to make it without losing too much time.

-OT on my hands feels so good.

-I got our Detroit Symphony Orchestra tickets for the Messiah concerts for Alex and I. We are so excited.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Mac’s MRI came out great.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
