For your consideration….
What is your light? It is the love in your soul. It is its essence. It is the essence of each and every person. It is the only true light of the Universe. Without it there is only darkness.
So…today’s message is simply this. Look for that light in each and every person you meet. Yes, there may be a lot of other stuff covering it up. It may not always be easy to see. But rather than see the baggage, look for their soul’s essence. It is there and only there that you will truly meet and know one another.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Look for the light of the soul.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Great 2nd graders. Last year they were a tough class but this year they are a joy.
-It is probably too long a story to tell but I will try to be brief. We read a story about a woman who had children who were very picky eaters. Each one she had were very particular about what they ate. In the beginning. she happily accommodated them. After seven children, she was wore out and doubted they appreciated her. In the end they tried to reciprocate, met disastrous results that accidentally turned out to be wonderful. I asked the students what the difference in her thinking was between the first picky child and the seventh. One girl said accurately said she no longer thought it was cute. One of my tougher kids said, “She thought she should have quit having kids.”
-My hand OT therapist is great.
-A relaxing evening in with a good book.
