For your considerations…

It is a simple message that seems easy enough except many times we have a hard time doing it. Our message today tells us to “stop playing the instant replays” of our lives. Suffice to say if we keep playing a scene over and over, we have learned our lesson. There is no point of going over it again and again with the if I “would of, could of, should of.” We already know that.

Time spent in the past or even the future is time taken away from making the present all that it can be. It takes away giving our “all” into the present moment. We are robbing ourselves. We can’t change the past but we can make right now the best it can be.

When we find ourselves dwelling on the past, it is a decision point. We are asked to acknowledge it as a lesson learned and move on. We don’t have to forget it. We just need to make sure it does not rob from the moment we are living. It does not have the power to do that  unless we let it. We can choose to let it creep into the present or we can dismiss it. It is up to us. We have a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Choose to let bygones be bygones and focus on the present.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Laundry done.

-Some wedding planning done.

-Chilling out all afternoon.

-Catching up with Jackie.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
