For your consideration…

I can not remember us ever having a message on envy. It is interesting that we do today.

Envy can eat a person up. It eats away at a person from the inside out. Our message today tells us that there is no value to envy. Coveting something someone else has is not based in any reality because envy covets a “piece” of someone else’s life. But just like in our own life, the piece is a part of a whole. Just like in our own lives, there are burdens that offset the rewards and lessons that go along with them. We are all designed perfectly for our own life and our own life purpose. We are not designed for anyone else’s or them ours.

Envy takes up space in our heart that we need for love and blessings waiting for us to receive them. Envy is a wastes of our time and energy. It usurps our  life purpose. We are reminded today to release any envy we notice and replace it with gratitude.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Release envy.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Great 3rd and 4th graders.

-A beautiful day….not to hot…not too cold…sunshine…a breeze….ahhh.

-I finally got my knives professionally sharpened. Funny how such little things can bring you joy.

-Finished a good book series.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
