For your consideration…

There were lots of pictures that I could have picked for today’s message. I choose this one because it is perfect.

Our message today focuses on what holding onto a grudge or anger does to US. Today’s message is about OUR welling.

No matter how justified anger is negative energy. We may have a right to be angry but holding on to it does not serve us well. No one is suggesting that we should never get angry or that we should become door mats. The message is about what we do with that anger.

Certainly there are times where we have to address an issue. We should do that. But then we need to let it go. The action of addressing it needs to be the conclusion. This needs to be the moment we let it go.

Holding onto anger damages us. Anger erodes our soul. It takes up space that could be used for good and love. It weighs us down. We need to be diligent that we only let what is good for us into our soul. Let bygones be bygones….immediately.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember, only let in and hold onto what is good and healthy for us.

What made me smile yesterday…

-I think this was the most perfect weather day we had for the first day of school. Normally it is crazy hot. Today was very bearable.

-19 sweet young 5’s.

-I was tired but took one look at the recyclables and decided I had to take cans back to the store. $22.00 made me smile and the freed up garage space.

-Catching up with my sister-in-law, Cathy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
