Can you take a second look at this picture? Notice this beautiful woman in a box. Clearly she can out of it. But do you get the sense she knows she can? Or that she wants too? Can you feel the despair? Can you feel the loneliness? Can you feel how exposed she feels in her nakedness? Do you think she cares how small the space is? What is she not seeing in her hiding? Notice the bird on the outside of the box. He wants to talk to her. He wants her to listen. He wants to help. Notice the sun on the back wall. She has put herself in a box. She can not see it. Notice the absence of light in this picture. Again symbolic, because this women does not want to see it in her hiding.
Today in this blog F. E. A. R. stands for “failure to explore amazing rewards”. Everyday we are rewarded with light. Whether you can see the sun today or not. It is there fulfilling its purpose for all of us. We can have light in our life if we choose to accept it. It is a gift. It is free, no strings attached. Yesterday we talked about imagination. Again it is a gift. It is free, no strings attached. We have talked many times about our “life tool box”. We were all given one. But it is up to us to use it.
What stops us from accepting all the rewards the Universal God has for us? We do. The rewards are waiting for us. There is always help available to us. But we have our part play because we have free will. We have to “pull the trigger” by exploring. We have to try new things, put ourselves in new situations and places. We have to step out of our box, our comfort zone, into the light. This is the signal that we are open and ready for the amazing rewards we are all entitled to.
Are you ready to stand up and explore life expecting amazing rewards? The HOPE is yes. Because everything you do reverberates around the world. The bigger the rewards you step up to, the bigger the rewards the entire world shares. You matter. You always have. You always will. We need you. Please stand up.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…….
-Meditate
-Get outdoors and take at least 10 deep breaths
-Try something new. It doesn’t have to be big, just new and different.
-Drink lots of water.
-Everyone needs to laugh at least once today. And smile often.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Oh yeah, sixth graders. I forgot how tough they can be. But I still just love teaching them.
-Bruce and I sat outside under an umbrella and had dinner while it rained around us. Amazing.
-Alex in her cowboy boots in Dallas. Yikes.
-Watching TV in bed.
