For your consideration…

As strong as my belief system is, I still have difficulty writing about death. The fact is, I was given amazing gifts from the passing of both of my parents. They solidified my belief system. I realize the magnitude of those gifts but I never want them to deafen my hearing or toughen my heart that I can not feel the grief of others.

Once again, “loss” is the subject of our message. It is right and normal that we have grief. In grief we miss and ache for someone who has passed. People sympathize with our loss. Our message today reminds us in the most loving way possible that we have NOT lost anyone. We had a similar message just a few days ago. It is recurring because we need to think about it and absorb it. Our loved ones pass to a new dimension that is connected to the present one we are in. There is no disconnect.

Just this past weekend I was giving a reading and the “Hello from Heaven” card came into the reading. I love this card whenever I get it for someone or for myself. It is a reassuring reminder that our loved ones see an opportunity to remind us they are present in our everyday lives. We have not lost them.

We know that when a person goes blind their other senses are heightened. It is the same when a person dies. Their physical body dies but their soul…their essence…becomes bigger, freer and more powerful. The bond of our love stays in tact. We are part of them and they are part of us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be still and notice the presence of our loved ones.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Lunch with friends, Vicki, Jody and Julie.

-Vicki and Jody went with me to get my ears re-pierced. I have been thinking about it for a while. Jody gave me the little nudge I needed.

-Bob joined us for dinner and then…

-We binge watched a series on TV.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
