For your consideration…

We have probably all been told throughout our lives, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” We have probably said it ourselves to our children and other people. We hear it when people are being unkind.

But…yes…another but because there is always another side. There is a balance and counter balance. Sometimes people need to hear things they don’t want to hear. They need to hear the truth and it may hurt their feelings. Truth can be painful but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be told. This seems to be at odds with “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

Our message today tells us that we always need truth. How it is told makes all of the difference. It needs to be told without judgment and with complete selfless love. Truth is light. It shines bright in our soul because it comes from love. It wants only the best for the other person. It has only their highest good for its purpose. It never comes from anger or is self-serving.

Sometimes we must say things other people do not want to hear. But we must say them because we love them. We have the perfect example. It is just how our Guidance speaks to us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Speak with truth and love.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A PJ day…all day.

-Good movies and TV watching with Jody.

-Catching up with Alex and Shannon.

-Mac had a great interview with her Blue and Gold Officer.

-A beautiful day and cool night for sleeping. Perfect.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
