For your consideration…

There is a song sung by Whitney Houston but written by George Robert Merrill,  Narada Michael Walden and Shannon Rubicam called “How Will I Know.” It questions how we can know if a love is real. This is a perfect message to yesterday’s message where we were promised that faith as small as a mustard seed was enough. Today’s message again acknowledges the doubts and questions that many people have and gives us some clues.

How will I know if he really loves me?
I say a prayer with every heartbeat
I fall in love whenever we meet
I’m asking you what you know about these things
How will I know if he’s thinking of me.

We often have messages about never giving up our power and control to other people. Having said that we are also reminded that we are in a partnership with our Guidance. We have help 24/7 walking our life path with us. When we are overwhelmed, we can ask our Guidance for help and even relinquish control to it because it always….always….is working for our highest good.

So how do we know when our Guidance is listening, working with us, thinking about us etc. We know when random thoughts put into our heads out of no where. It is those coincidences because there are no coincidences. It is that random phone call or support you need whether you knew you needed it or not. It is the many blessings we are given whether we recognize them or not. It is the help with problems that we are faced with to give us the opportunity to grow.

We understand that our ego talks nonstop to us. How do we know that it is our Guidance communicating with us and not our ego? We know because we feel it in our body, mind and spirit. Whether we like the information or not, we feel its rightness because it does not feel threatening or judgmental. It feels like love because it is love. It urges us forward promising the support we need will be there if we just have faith.

Our Guidance is with us always, in the fun times,  relaxing times, troubling times, monumental moments. We are reminded today that all is well. We are surrounded with everything we need.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved”

-Affirm…“I am supported by my Guidance 24/7.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday….

-Wow, another beautiful day.

-Breakfast with Jody.

-A quick trip to the farmer’s market and Walmart. Of course, Jody still had to pick up a couple of things I forgot when she went back out. Seriously, there is no excuse with today’s technology. for me to do that. I must remember to look at my recipe before I go and make a list or simply take a picture of it.

-A chill afternoon and evening.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
